Ingredients

Add 3 tablespoons of mix to 1½ cups of water (or 1 tablespoon to ½ cup water for shoulder-length hair).

Bring to a gentle boil for 12–15 minutes. The longer it cooks, the thicker the gel becomes.

Strain the gel using a cheesecloth, wig cap, or fine strainer.
